VILLA PARK 08/06/2008

The Chicago branch of the FBI and Villa Park investigators are searching for the man who robbed the Inland Bank, 305 W. St. Charles Road in Villa Park at about 9:45 am. Leaving through the south doors the man ran on foot southwest toward the Great Western Trail and Cottage Hill Bus Company. The suspect was described as a white or Hispanic male, about 6 feet tall, in his mid-20s, with a thin to medium build. He was wearing a baseball cap and a white long-sleeved T-shirt. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call the Villa Park Police Department at 630-834-7447. HINSDALE  03/17/2008

The Harris Bank of Hinsdale located at 50 S. Lincoln Street was robbed around 6:10 am. The robber stole cash from a bank safe before it opened for business. The man described as being between 25 and 30 years old, 5 foot 4 to 5 foot 5 inches tall, wearing a black knit hat, gray sweatshirt, black pants and a black scarf over his face, fled on foot before police arrived, and no one was injured.

WINFIELD  03/17/2008

Sometime during the evening of the 16th and the morning of the 17th three businesses located in the Prarie Trail Shopping Center, located at the SW corner of County Farm and Geneva Roads were broken into. WHEATON  03/06/2008

A man wearing a ski mask entered First National Bank, 1151 E. Butterfield Road, about 10:20 a.m. and demanded money from a bank teller. The robber displayed no weapons of any kind. He got an undisclosed amount of cash from the teller and left without injuring anyone. Darien Police Department's canine unit was called to conduct a search of the area. The suspect was not found. The suspect is described as been 6 feet tall with a large build. He wore dark clothing in addition to the ski mask over his face. VILLA PARK  01/07/2008 

66-year-old Syrja and 67-year-old Safo Shehu were found murdered in their home at 46 W. Ridge Road. Police are searching for the man they believe killed his sleeping parents. ArturShehu, 33, is suspected of shooting his parents to death in the home the three of them shared. Shehu, an Albanian immigrant, remains at large. Police consider him armed and dangerous. Shehu is 33 year old male white, about 5 feet 9 inches tall, and weighs 195 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. Anyone who spots Shehu should call 911 and is urged not to approach him.
